Autonomy Through Standards

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Session Description: Standards, assessments, and grades are foundational for educators and students alike. Yet, they are fully incomplete. Standards guide our curriculum and instruction, assessments inform us how our students are understanding the curriculum and grasping our instruction, and grades dictate our students academic future. Yet, they are fully incomplete because, often, they miss the mark on some of the deepest and most valuable components of
life: the human being stuff.

Session Outcomes: Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. discover ways they can utilize innovate, student-lead learning
2. prepare students for the future by teaching them skills such as grit, curiosity, and ingenuity
3. implement Student Autonomy into their curriculum.
