Digitally Dynamic Learning: Make Learning Come Alive

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Session Description: Participants will explore why our approaches to learning must be relevant and flexible in today's digitally rich environment.  In this session, unique strategies for using widely available digital tools will be shared to help busy teachers make small changes that can bring about significant shifts in the way students feel and experience learning.  Attendees will feel ready to implement these new ideas as they take home and use a simple planning and evaluation framework designed to help teachers use available digital assets - whatever they may be - to transform learning experiences from dull or dying, to dynamic.

Session Outcomes: Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1.  return to their classroom with instructional approaches and strategies they can use the next day to increase students' engagement in their own learning.
2. have new ideas for using several digital tools that are readily available to most educators (For example, Google Suite, among others), that will enable them to take students beyond the typical elementary digital experience.
3. leave with a simple system they can use to plan digital experiences that truly brings learning alive and allows them to evaluate their effectiveness so that future improvements are part of the process.
