GoFormative: An Immediate Assessment and Feedback Tool

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Session Description:  Most online assessments require participants to “Submit” their assessments before a teacher gets to look at the data. This often leaves a lag time between what the student did and when the teacher can give feedback.  GoFormative is an assessment tool where students do not need to click on submit before the teacher can see what the student is doing in REAL TIME. In this presentation you will learn the functionality of the tool as it relates to virtual and classroom assessments. You will learn the power of the question choices such as the show your work feature where students are able to type, draw, or write a response even on a graphic organizer. Participants will leave the session with ready to use assessments that they can implement immediately.

Session Outcomes: Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. Create and assign a GoFormative assessment.
2. Create multiple types of questions for formative assessment
3. Know how to provide instant feedback
