Session Description: Open Education Resources (OER) are freely available courses, textbooks, activities and more that are licensed for reuse and incorporating them can save money, empower teachers and provide students with relevant, high quality content. Attendees will explore OER resources that are freely available along with considerations for implementing them in their school or classroom.


Session Outcomes: Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. Identify considerations to implementing OER in their classrooms
2. Explore OER resources to use in their classroom
3. Develop a basic understanding of creative commons licensing
