Integration Nation: Combining Technology and Library Media

Session Description: Attendees will explore technology and library media integration opportunities.  Attendees will experience first hand techniques use in a K-6 co-taught technology and library classroom setting. Attendees will have an opportunity to work hands-on with equipment used in the classroom as well as receive handouts, lesson starters, and curriculum integration ideas.  Attendees will have the opportunity to look through the new AASL standards and how correlate with ISTE standards, along with integration into the classroom as well as an extension form the general education classroom.  
Session Outcomes: Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. present collaborative efforts either to their Tech/Library staff or throughout other applicable subjects.
2.  apply a solid understanding of integration and co-teaching applications.
3.  create or alter an existing lesson in order to effectively integrate with technology and library media.
